For Teachers
If you teach a course at your high school that is very similar to a course available in our College in the High School Program, you can seek approval from your administration and then apply to our program to become certified to teach a college-level course in the comfort of your own high school classroom. Prospective CHS teachers should have completed 18 credits in the discipline (or a closely related discipline) and hold a Master's degree or Master's Equivalent.
Certified teachers for the CHS Program have important guidelines to follow. Please review the CHS Teacher Agreement.
To begin the process, an application should be sent to Ms. Jody Randolph, program coordinator, by May 1 for courses beginning the next academic year. Submitted applications will be reviewed by the CHS Program directors, the faculty liaison for the course and the appropriate academic chairperson.
