The Master of Social Work program at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will hold a virtual information session March 27 about its in-person program in Bradford.
The information session will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. via videoconference. Stephanie Eckstrom, MSW regional director for the University of Pittsburgh will lead a discussion about the admissions process, program structure and benefits, curriculum, financial aid, tuition discounts for helping professionals and more.
The next cohort will begin in fall 2024. Students attend the Pitt-Bradford program part-time in a cohort with other students, completing six credits each semester for 10 consecutive semesters. Students may successfully complete the MSW in 3½ years.
Geared toward working professionals, all classes are held in the evenings on the Pitt-Bradford campus. The Pitt-Bradford MSW program shares the same academic goals, standards, and requirements as the program at the Pittsburgh campus.
The MSW program at Pitt-Bradford offers a specialization in direct practice with individuals, families, and small groups, and the opportunity for a certificate in children, youth, and families.
The Pitt School of Social Work is ranked 21st by U.S. News and World Report among 298 accredited graduate schools of social work.
