The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will host Jeff Boyer’s Big Bubble Bonanza at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 in the Bromeley Family Theater of Blaisdell Hall.

The Bubble Bonanza, presented by Pitt-Bradford Arts, will feature bubble rainbows with people inside, audience members making volcano bubbles and gigantic bubbles that blow their own bubbles.

Big Bubble Bonanza is the latest comedy bubble show from Jeff Boyer, who has been performing for 25 years. The show blends comedy, music and interactive bubble-magic for a sensory-friendly bubble extravaganza for the whole family.

Boyer specializes in inclusion and diversity performances as he seamlessly engages audiences beyond language, cultural, age and ability barriers.

Boyer said he was always fascinated by science and intrigued by bubbles.

“They’re magical and wondrous and really awe inspiring,” he told the Idaho Mountain Express in a 2022 interview. “They bring a lot of joy and wonder.”

Young audiences, of course, are pleased by bubbles, but he says his show is for the whole family.

“Quite often the loudest people in the audience are their parents,” he said. “Wherever I go, I get rave reviews and people go crazy.”

Tickets to the show are $10 for all ages and may be purchased in advance at upb.pitt.edu/TheArts, at the door or at the Bromeley Family Theater Box Office. The box office is open from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Blaisdell Hall. Patrons can also call the box office at 814-362-5113.
