Short Bio
Before working in the Hanley Library, Jenelle worked in public education. She taught English, reading, and was the library media specialist at Kane Area Middle School. While teaching, Jenelle was also the advisor to the Kane Middle School blog, library helpers, and the reading competition team and coached track & field and women’s soccer. Jenelle enjoys volunteering for the Trevor Project, meeting with the local middle-level book club at the public library, traveling, hiking, and road and mountain biking in her free time.

Research, Accomplishments, and Publications
Jenelle recently collaborated with the Curriculum Materials Committee of the Education and Behavioral Sciences Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries, a Division of the American Library Association, to compile and publish the 8th Edition of the Directory of Curriculum Materials Center and Collections.
