Short Bio
Ashley is the Coordinator of Student Engagement for the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford's Student Engagement Office. In this role, she works directly with Pitt-Bradford student groups to provide interactive and engaging programming opportunities that assist them in achieving their academic, professional and personal goals, while also developing valuable leadership skills. Professionally working in higher education since 2017, Ashley understands the importance of establishing inclusive and accessible spaces where students can thrive. She is dedicated to providing students with the experiences they need to be successful at Pitt-Bradford and beyond.
She is a first-generation college graduate and has degrees in English Writing and Higher Education Student Affairs from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. During her undergraduate career, she spent some time in The Netherlands at the University College Roosevelt, where she studied literature and linguistics. She also has prior professional experience in programming, recruitment, TRIO-SSS and multicultural affairs. Ashley and her spouse, Luis, live in Bradford.
